AROD'S WIFE CYNTHIA RODRIGUEZ DUMPS AROD BECAUSE OF MADONNA AFFAIR FILES FOR DIVORCE AND HOOKS UP WITH LENNY KRAVITZ

According to People Magazine Arod's wife Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce in Miami. Cynthia says that her husband Yankee player Alex "Arod" Rodriguez had an "affair of the heart" with the material girl Madonna. Madonna's reps issued a statement last week that the affair rumors weren't true.

News also surfaced that Arod's wife Cynthia who just gave birth three months ago was in Paris with rock star Lenny Kravitz. Kravitz said that the couple weren't having an affair and he was not an adulterer.

Guy Ritchie and Madonna have been carrying on some "Showmance" to prove to everyone that they are still a happy couple. Unfortunately even their Yankee fan son Rocco sees through this game. His mom Madonna is a Yankee and Arod fan too.

Alex Rodriguez's relationship with Madonna was "an affair of the heart" – not "sexual infidelity" – according to Cynthia Rodriguez's lawyer.

Still, the baseball star's relationship with the singer "was the last straw" before the Yankee slugger's wife filed for divorce Monday, her Houston attorney, Earle Lilly, tells PEOPLE.

Lilly says that A-Rod was smitten with Madonna, but makes no claim of any sexual liaison. "The correct analysis is a relationship," he says. "Some people categorize an affair as something as sexual infidelity. We're not claming that. It's an affair of the heart."

Over the weekend, Madonna issued a statement to PEOPLE denying a romantic relationship with the baseball star, saying, "I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage."

In fact, "Madonna's name is not even mentioned in the papers," says Lilly. "We don't want the public to think this is an aggressive action against Madonna."

Still, Lilly maintains that A-Rod has behaved badly for "a good while" and his client, Cynthia Rodriguez, has had enough. "She's just a Greek Orthodox lady who has had as much as she can take," he says.

Shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, Cynthia's Miami attorney Maurice Kutner filed the divorce petition.

"This is an action for dissolution of marriage, which is being filed only after [Cynthia Rodriguez] has exhausted every effort to salvage the marriage of the parties," the document reads. "However, Alex has emotionally abandoned his wife and children and has left her with no choice but to divorce him." source

Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez's marriage is kaput, sources told The Post.

A-Rod's wife, Cynthia, has been shacked up with rocker Lenny Kravitz in Paris.

The couple's two daughters - 3-year-old Natasha and 2-month-old Ella - remained in Miami, sources said.

The stunning news emerged a day after revelations that Alex Rodriguez has been paying late-night visits to Madonna's Upper West Side apartment.
The game of musical celebrity beds has effectively ended the randy Rodriguez's already-shaky marriage, even though divorce papers have not been filed, sources said.

Cynthia Rodriguez, 34, has been in Paris for at least the past four days visiting Grammy-winner Kravitz.

C-Rod was seen outside the 44-year-old Kravitz's pad in the romantic City of Light as recently as Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, A-Rod has been in New York with the Bronx Bombers, reading headlines about his numerous visits to Madonna's Upper West Side apartment, which were first reported by Us Weekly on Tuesday.

The magazine also reported that A-Rod may have gone to Madonna's New York pad as early as one night after leaving his wife's side in Miami following the April 21 birth of their daughter, Ella. source

Do yall remember when people said my fiance was pregnant????  What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about????  I'm just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I'm going to anger management something or 'nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah...  SIIIIIIGGGHHHH!  I told the media you can't make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don't know if everyone has realized this yet but I don't do interviews if there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog.

Usher appears on the cover of Essence with his adorable little nine month old son Usher Raymond V. We wonder what made Usher change his mind about taking the new baby pics. Read an excerpt from his interview with the magazine below.

HILL HARPER: In the last year, you got married and you've had a baby. Which has changed you more? USHER: They're both linked�I can't have one without the other. But the one thing that changed me the most is having a wife. Our child is an extension of that union.

HARPER: Why?

USHER: Because now I represent what he is to become. He's gonna admire me, he's gonna look up to me. He's gonna say, "I wanna be"�or he should say� "I wanna be like my father. I wanna be a man of valor. I wanna possess what my father has as a man." To get married was a choice. To have a child is a responsibility.

HARPER: Does that new responsibility challenge you to make music that is more responsible?

USHER: I started making Here I Stand before I had my son and before I was married. It was a deliberate choice to make music with substance, not just about the things that we're accustomed to�music about being the celebrity, the player, or having the car, the girl and the bling.

HARPER: Your father wasn't around to raise you. How do you plan to be different for your son than your father was for you?

USHER: Just simply being there. I don't judge my father because I forgave him for anything he'd ever done to hurt me unintentionally. My father and I had a very short amount of time together throughout my entire life, but the most valuable time was during his final days. He asked me to forgive him for not being there. He asked me to give him a chance, give him a shot because he loved me, and he had always loved me. But it was very difficult for him to be in the situation he was in and be the example he wanted me to follow. So he intentionally stayed away. And he was kept away from me too. He didn't like it, but he didn't fight it because he knew he wasn't living right. source

Matthew McConanaughey and girlfriend of two years Camila Alves have welcomed a son Monday night, his rep Alan Nierob confirms to PEOPLE. The baby – the first child for both – was born at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles, weighing in at 7 lbs., 4 oz.

"They're so happy!" said a close pal.

In January PEOPLE's former Sexiest Man Alive announced the couple were expecting on his website. "Camila and I made a baby together...," he wrote at the time. "We are stoked and wowed."

McConaughey's oldest brother, Rooster, shared their elation. "Oh, it's going to be fun!" he told PEOPLE. "He'll make a really good dad because he's got a lot of patience. I'm excited for him. It's about time." source

Congrats to Venus Williams! Venus Williams beat her younger sis Serena Williams to win the Wimbeldon championship. Serena WIlliams was the defending Wimbeldon champion after she won the title last year.  Venus made history at the beginning of the tournament when she hit a 127 mph serve at Wimbeldon. Venus Williams hit the fastest women's serve ever recorded at Wimbeldon.

Venus Williams beat sister Serena 7-5, 6-4 Saturday for her fifth Wimbledon title and seventh Grand Slam championship.

Watching from the players' box was the sisters' mother, Oracene. Their father, Richard, had flown back to the United States because he can't stand to watch his daughters play each other. This was Venus' first victory over her younger sibling in a Grand Slam final since the 2001 U.S. Open, and it evened their career record at 8-8.

"I can't believe that it's five," Venus said. "But when you're in the final against Serena Williams, five seems too far away. ... She played so awesome, it was really a task to beat her."

Venus came from 3-1 down in the first set to turn around the match, breaking Serena four times while dropping serve twice in a final that produced breathtaking tennis despite swirling wind.

This was more than a matchup between siblings; it was a contest between two of the hardest-hitting, most athletic players in the world at the top of their game.

Venus broke to finish the match in 1 hour, 51 minutes, with Serena hitting a backhand wide on the second match point. The sisters embraced at the net, and Venus kept her celebrations in check as she twirled and waved to the Centre Court crowd. source

He was awarded the key to the city by New Orleans Mayor Nagin. Some of the other celebs who attended on Day One were Solange Knowles, Bow Wow, Lebron James and Reverend Al Sharpton.

In a stark display of his love-hate relationship with the Crescent City, entertainment mogul Tyler Perry kicked off the 14th Essence Music Festival on Friday by receiving a key to the city from Mayor Ray Nagin, then sharing with a packed crowd memories of his troubled childhood in New Orleans. Introducing Perry at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Nagin spoke of the entertainer's phenomenal success in theater, film, television and literature, particularly his unprecedented 100-episode deal with cable network TBS for his show "House of Payne."

"He's one of the few creative people where they just gave him the check and said, 'Here you go. Do whatever you want.' That just does not happen," Nagin said.

When Perry came out, dressed in white linen pants with white loafers and a navy blazer, Nagin offered him a proclamation and an oversized golden key mounted on a wooden plaque.

"I don't know if it opens anything," Nagin cracked, to which Perry responded: "Hibernia?"

"You don't need Hibernia," Nagin said, referring to the former Louisiana-based bank. "You're dealing with some bigger things. You are a native son. This is your city. We are proud of you. We love you, and we wish you the best."

Though Perry, 38, grew up in New Orleans, he moved to Atlanta 15 years ago and has not spoken fondly of his childhood in New Orleans, which included abuse and homelessness.

"I grew up in this great city, and if you haven't been here, I encourage you to get out past the smiles of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter," Perry said, after expressing his gratitude for the city's honors. "There's another New Orleans, faced with poverty and despair."

Referring to his "love-hate" relationship with the city, Perry said he decided to get out of New Orleans after visiting Atlanta for the first time.

"When I went to Atlanta, I saw black people doing well. Not just some people, but everybody," Perry said. "So I packed up my Hyundai and I moved." source

AMY WINEHOUSE DRUNK WINO ON STAGE AT SPAIN ROCK IN MADRID RIO MUSIC FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE VIDEOS

Amy Winehouse came out of her rumored "house arrest" to perform at the Rock and Rio Music Festival in Spain.  Amy is supposed to be trying to kick her crack addiction but she was still boozing it up on stage. The rehab singer could barely stand straight and kept drinking what looked like red wine from a glass on stage during her performance. Our guess is that everyone it thankful Amy didn't spit at or punch fans in the head like she did at Glastonbury. Rock in Rio Madrid 2008 - Part-2 - Amy Winehouse

Soul diva Amy Winehouse sipped from a glass of red wine and at first looked a bit unsteady on her feet as she appeared in front of a large audience at the Rock In Rio music festival south east of Madrid.

Then, as a crowd of what concert organisers said was 40,000 cheered, she kicked off a pair of high stiletto heels in favour of white moccasins, donned a white electric guitar and settled into an intense rendition of some of her best-known songs, including Rehab.

The troubled singer delivered a strong vocal performance accompanied by her octet plus two male backing vocalists.

There was no hint of the controversy that saw the Grammy-winning vocal artist scuffle with a fan at the Glastonbury festival last weekend and show up an hour late looking the worse for wear last May in Portugal.

Winehouse did not stay for an encore and was seen leaving the outdoor concert venue by helicopter.

Winehouse's manager, Michael Jobson, told national broadcaster RTVE that the singer had looked forward to singing in Madrid after appearances in Portugal and London's Hyde Park. source
